Phil Rowleys Gun Metal Chromie Fly pattern Question

Hey all,

I want to tie the Phil Rowley "Gunmetal Chromie" AKA " GMC" but it seems that the original Flashabou that Phil calls for in the pattern ( Gun Metal # 6916 ), is discontinued.
I went to a local Fly Shop today and purchased the #6916 Flashabou they had, but it is now called Flashabou " Blue Steel". Is the " Blue Stee l" still a good color to use, for the GMC? Thoughts, suggestions and/or testaments to the use of this " Blue Steel " color, on this GMC Fly Pattern would be welcomed.

Thanks everyone.
Sorry for putting it in the wrong place.
I was mostly concerned about the color difference. I read the BC Guys shootout and also watched a You Tube video with Phil Rowley, tying the pattern, on or about 2019, but I didnt catch anyone mentioning the new "Blue Steel" color. I couldve missed it. Ill watch/read those materials again.

Total doughball move. The color is referenced in the first sentence, of the BC Fly Guys Article. My wife, is of course correct.............I cant see shit.
