Peacock bass

Greetings
So I’m going to Kauai soon and I was hoping to catch a peacock bass. I rose one last time when I was on the Waimea river catching papio.

Any fly suggestions? Colors?
I’ll have a 7 and 8 wt with floating and intermediate lines and maybe a spinnng rods to throw paddle tails

I’m going back to Waimea and will also be in kapa’a which has some interesting urban creeks. There are also some reservoirs that rent boats

So any suggestions would be appreciated
And whoever mentioned the plantation cottages awhile back mahalo!!!

From what I understand, treat em like any other bass. Top water early/in the shade, big profile easy meal subsurface stuff in the sun.
