Paulina Lake trashed by wind storm

My friend was at East early and bailed before it came in. Fishing was good right before things crashed in.
 
I was driving through the area and it was wicked. Lots of rain in our location too.

Years back I had my 18’ boat tied up at Wapato Pt in Chelan. A storm came through that sunk many boats. Mooring lines broke and boats were free drifting and bouncing of other boats all night long. It was a horrible sight and nothing we could do. 5-6’ waves breaking on the shore.

AFTER a bad storm one year I arrived at a mostly empty campground in July. I had my pick of camp sites. Fishing was satisfactory.
 
Just an FYI - as of yesterday Cinder HIll campground at East Lake remains closed when previously it has always been open before Memorial day. According to the East lake Resort crew it's due to budget cuts at USFS. The Resort charges $5 to launch at their docks and park in their lot. The Hot Springs launch site remains open without any floating docks in the water.
