I was able to escape work early Friday and headed to Pass. The water was still chill but clear, with Goldeneyes breaking the surface sporadically across the lake.
The bite was slow. Occasional hits close to bottom; no activity near shore. I finally landed a solid Rainbow quite a distance out, and deep.
Dusk did not improve the action but provided a gorgeous backdrop to the evening...
