Looking for advice on which outfitter to choose for a late summer 2025 trip with my wife and another couple. They have not done multi day rafting trips like I have so this is mainly a scenery/get away from life kind of trip, where I will be able to fish a little. Anyone done one of these trips?

My daughter worked for them for 10 yrs. Great culture of good people who want their clients to have a great experience. Emily became close friends to clients over the years.
 
I've never done a trip with them, but I've heard great things. Did the float years ago on our own in a driftboat. Late summer is prime time for fishing.

I went on a trip with Helfrich about 13 years ago. Definitely a fishing trip, done in driftboats. And definitely first rate accommodations and food. Beautiful country, amazing the change between Boundary creek launch, and the take out in the main Salmon.
 
Helfrich looked like a good operation to me running small trips unlike the cattle boat operations of some of the outfitters. They used to run wooden dories for fishing - don't know if they still do.
 
From the pictures on the Helfrich website it looks like we'd be cattle. Which is fine and expected. I like small group trips that I go along with in my pontoon but that's not possible on this river.
