Life of the Party
My original trip was cancelled, but we've got three folks on board (@Cabezon, myself, and a friend of mine that's not on the forum) and ready to book a trip out of Westport on 10/4. If you had a trip of your own cancelled due to weather, wanted to go but couldn't make previous dates work, or have already gone but decided that you want another crack at albacore - here's your chance.
If you haven't gone before, the freight-train hits, screaming-runs, etc are worth the price of admission on their own, and when you add in the chance to see the entire plankton-to-whale menagerie of marine life in an exuberant blue-water feeding-frenzy *and* the potential come home with many pounds of sushi-grade tuna it makes for a world class experience.
If you need gear I have a back-up 12-weight, may have an extra 12-weight reel that I can add to the combo by then, and have more flies than I need for a single trip so I can easily provide those as well. If you're roughly my size (Men's L or smaller) I can even provide deck pants and boots.
We haven't formally booked the trip yet (waiting for a 4th before pulling the trigger), but as of this writing the date is still open - so if you want to join us, shoot me a PM to let me know as soon as possible.
