That looks sooo tasty!
Mrs Brian & I LOVE lamb. We buy boneless roasts, have the butcher cut it into steaks, put rub on them and BBQ them. Yummy.

I'm thankful my wife loves lamb. In fact her love got worse when I took her to Scotland. Now she wants to raise some with our veal calves and pigs.My wife has a strange and unhealthy dislike of lamb. As such I never cook it since it's only me who would eat it. So these days I mostly ever have lamb if we go out some place and I see it on the menu. You should see the dirty looks she gives me when I eat it lol
Couple years ago we spent a few days in Portland as the guests of a fly fishing club I spoke at. One night her and I found one of those Brazilian steakhouses that comes around and serves various cuts of meat. Everything they served was fantastic, but it was the lamb that I couldn't get enough of. Poor server probably wore out her feet coming back around to bring me more lamb on a constant basis. I was quite proud of the damage I did that night, my wife not so much lol.
Lamb might be my favorite meat out there. I have a love/hate relationship with the amazing lamb dinner pics Brian has posted. I love living vicariously through him, and I hate that at am so jealous lol

Now my wife has a hate for lobster, shrimp, and prawns. Outside of Dublin Prawns we had in Ireland she can't stand them. Not sure what is different about Dublin Prawns that makes them so much different. But they are really tasty and a very different texture. I think she ate half of my appetizer,, which was quite a lot.
Lamb can have a real gamey taste that some folks don't like. Trimming excess fat, that unlike some beef cuts, doesn't add a lot of desired flavor, and using steak (or pork) rubs, or braising reduces that gamey taste... no mint jelly required. My wife has a strange and unhealthy dislike of lamb. Nick, does she just not like the taste has an issue eating a baby animal?
If it's a taste issue try the braised lamb shanks as it's not as strong of a flavor after cooking in a whole bottle of wine LOL.
If it's the other, we'll just tease her by saying "I'm so delicious " in a baby lamb voice!![]()
