Just me and a buddy on the lake.
Throat pump'd. #18 Chironomids. Burgundy bead, asb over brown....all day long.
Several times fish would take the mids on the fall as we were pegging bobbers. Hand-lined them in.
Eventually we ditched the bobbers. Took too long. We just tossed line back in and let it sink...by the time it sank, another tug.
