On your own Cabo fishing?

That would be a concern for sure, which getting dropped off closer to the undeveloped section of the beach away from the hotels might be an option.
Honestly I think Jerry could just walk down from the arroyo and just fish there, that would be an option if a panga isn’t in the cards to get him on the water.
I believe Stephen Jansen still has a shop down there. That might also be a resource for Jerry to get some info.

I've done some beach casting down in Cabo. I think Stonefish's recommendation is 100% what I would do. I was staying at a hotel that had its own beach access that I could walk but it was a similar set-up. Walk down from the beach to the jetty/rocky outcrop and cast as far as I could with jigs/poppers/rapalas. In a handful of outings over 3 years I ended up hooking a Sierra (yum), a Mexican Look Down (had to look it up), a barracuda (lost a few before bringing a wire leader on the next trip), a very juvenile rooster, and a few random reef fish. Never hot fishing but only got skunked 1x.
