Another of the Hardy clones up for sale. This is the cleanest one I own and possibly the cleanest I've ever seen for sale.
The reel is in excellent condition. I've only fished it a couple times.
I also have the box, features/parts sheet and plastic cover so truly a collectible.
Just like the Roddy 34 in my other listing, it is a clone of the Hardy St. Aidan and was made by Olympic/Seiko Reel Company in Japan in the 70s or 80s.
It's a great reel for a 7-8wt single-hand or a Trout Spey setup. Also great for 6-7wt switch rods.
Currently setup for right hand retrieve, but easily changed to left.
Reel diameter is 3 3/4", spool diameter is 3 3/8", spool width is 7/8". Weight is 6 oz.
