Old Steelhead Reports

Just read through the whole thread! Wish I would have been fishing back in the 80's and 90's, but golf was my thing back then! Love to see the pictures and hear the stories. One of the funny things, for me at least, is what people were wearing too fish! It wasn't high end, super expensive gear like today! Just people out fishing and loving the outdoors! Keeping what they caught, when there were numbers that made that possible.. Anyway, I started when the downturn hit, but don't regret it at all! Steelheading, particularly in the winter has helped me stay positive and fairly optimistic in general. I feel like I've done more right, than wrong, but the fish just aren't there like they were when many of you started! Cheers!
