OFFICIAL 2026 NFL SEASON DISCUSSION

Obviously other teams will be studying the Hawks defense from tonight. Maybe that will help KC lose future games - I hope so. KC will make adjustments so that it does not happen again.

Most likely it will make for better games.

Game starts when I'm normally falling asleep (have I mentioned I hate Eastern time) ...

The Hawks defense was dominating, In Mahomes face all night and not allowing the Chiefs to get anything going.

See you again in February (I hope)...

Go Chiefs

Makes Denver's win over the Hawks a little more noteworthy. Denver is probably now on hour eight of watching game film.

K9 - Be careful what you wish for.

Interesting how Walker left the field immediately after the game without interacting with any of his ex teammates except one near the tunnel. Maybe bad blood was worse than just with management?
I know they are pros and get paid a lot, but regardless of the outcome I still like to see good sportsmanship.
I thought that was a chump move on his part regardless of his performance.

Rumors is rumors, but it was mentioned a few times during his Seattle tenure that Walker is not a particularly great teammate.

First complete game the Hawks have played all season IMO. Much being made about that turnover. I tend to agree Sam shouldn't have thrown that ball. Either way I'll take that version of this offense any Sunday Monday or Thursday

I think a big reason the offense looked different and actually had a running game is because Bradford was back. He can have some questionable plays occasionally, but he's an absolute road grater when it comes to run blocking.

I know years of instincts play into it, and it's hindsight, but that INT was unacceptable. Run it and don't fumble, 3 points. Throw it into the stands, 3 points. Throw into tight coverage? C'mon man!

Was nice to see the KC defense coordinator come over specifically to shake McDonald's hand after the game.

Those 2 were going head to head, Spagnuolo probably able to de-code all the in-game defensive adjustments & counter moves better than anyone. The game within the game, that's the good stuff. Classy move

Whew! Seahawks played all 4 quarters like they mattered. Is it safe to say? Would it be believed? Seahawks defense = Legion of Boom!
V 2.0, yes sireee! I'm stunned at how the defense shut down Walker. And shut down Mahomes miracle play making ability. When the Legion of Boom! shows up, they own the game.

Still no running game, but I felt joy seeing Wilson run for more than 4 yards. Much fun seeing him score a TD, but the Chiefs did leave a hole open large enough to drive a school bus through - thank you Chiefs!
