After playing more games than any other team over the previous 5+ years, the extra rest may have been a blessing. They came out with energy and enthusiasm, unlike their opponent, who looked overwhelmed (Bo know turnovers). Walker was a beast, but the much maligned O line made it possible. Defense was swarming. An overall strong showing for the AFC West co-leaders and team with the youngest roster in the league. Great start to the season!!!

Lol.....only 9 players have been on the roster for the 5+ yrs you mentioned.

Yeah...the TEAM really was worn down from all the extra time in the field.

Lot of money for a running back who's not a bellcow. He looks great when he's healthy, but he wasn't healthy the majority of his time in Seattle. It's why he had to split carries (which he resented).
 
Just have to see if he can get more than 230 carries in a year...he hasn't yet.

Will see how he does in KC , didn't look too shabby last night . Will see if he can hold up ,that was quite a work load last night .
 
He's a good back, explosive and the question has been durability.
Maybe he does get 3-400 touches, but he hasn't yet. Last year was the first time he played in every game, and backs typically miss a game or two, so not unexpected, but splitting carries seemed to keep him on the field.

If K9 can get his workload up and consistently play similar to how he played last night then I'll consider saying, 'ya, it was a mistake letting him go'. But even then, if Jadarian Price puts up the kind of numbers he appears capable of it was probably still the right move financially.
