OFFICIAL 2026 NFL SEASON DISCUSSION

DB depth was always something we needed, so picking him up probably isn't a bad deal for us.
There's worse DB's out there...past his prime but a decent guy to have on the roster.
Besides, he could use a ring, and this is the place to get one.
😁

He’s only 27, He’ll be 28 in Sept. 3 very good years from 20-22. Last 3 seasons he’s only played in 21-22 games total. Availability is the best ability!!!! Not sure of his injury history.

ACL and knees problems in 23-24, then concussion in 25.
Hasn't been the same, so just have to see.
It's a 1 year prove it deal, and he could wind up being cut if he can't win a roster spot.
No lose deal for the team...just like Arnold.

Things just keep getting more interesting.
Put this in the NFL thread but could have easily gone in the college football thread.
SF

I would say that the universities don’t necessarily have to allow those who come back a spot on the team.

It’s a great lesson learning time…

And, it would be like me going elsewhere for a job, because the grass looked greener and the pay was better but the job sucked. So, you approach your old employer and tell ‘em I want my old job back. Boss looks at you and replies… I already found a new employee.

Sucks to be you… 😳😉😁

10 yard penalty for restraining...

I just read a stat that says the Miami Dolphins haven't won a playoff game since the year 2000. Sure, not like I thought the Dolphins were some powerhouse. But dang, 25 seasons and no playoff win? Have they really been that bad for that long? I guess so.

The Raiders are not far behind with 23 years since their last one. But see, THAT doesn't surprise me. The silver and black have been garbage since the Jon Gruden era and everyone knows it.

it's always the Cowboys....

They just suck...

It has been absolutely freeing to accept that the NFL and the NBA have become so distorted by insanely overblown contracts and corrupt and wholly unlikable owners with zero loyalty to fans that is now now merely entertainment to view when convenient.
There is the possibility, however, that if my teams didn't suck so badly I'd feel different about it...
