Actually the WNBA is pretty sporty…watched the Aces’ Jones hit a 3 pointer to tie the game in regulation against the Fever after Clark missed two free throws to ice the game…then Jones hits a 3 again at the buzzer to beat Indiana in OT…
No doubt.
To clarify, my comment was about WNBA refs keeping the whistle silent allowing for NFL level of contact. Hyperbole for sure, but I wish they would call games to an NCAA, Olympic or even NBA standard. I think it would improve the product.

That was quite the choke on the Fevers part . When Clark got to the free-throw line I thought this games done .
I try to watch most of the televised games .
I can agree there , they are not the best refs I've seen .

Larry Fitzgerald was such an awesome player and seems like a high quality human being. I always felt a little sorry for him…playing an entire career for a team that was largely irrelevant and had a negligible fan base. I guess he enjoyed the warm winters ?

Sorry Brute: Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins and defensive end Maxx Crosby were suspended from team drills at practice Saturday following their fight the day before, giving rookie QB Fernando Mendoza his first opportunity in training camp to run the starting offense.
Not much of a match between Cousins , and Crosby , what was Cousins thinking .
At least Mahomes seemed a little better match when Crosby was getting after him . But neither should be messing with him , not a great idea .

That was a bummer to hear Roger Craig’s announcement yesterday at the HOF induction ceremony about his dementia diagnosis.
I always liked him as a player. Seemed like a really good guy off the field as well.
