Don't worry. Once sold, they'll move out of this state and take on a new name. Remember the Sonics? They won the super bowl... they're for sale....
Sorry… Las Vegas is only accepting Oakland teams…Don't worry. Once sold, they'll move out of this state and take on a new name. Remember the Sonics?
Like I said, that graphic is obviously out of date. That said, Paul Allen initially purchased the Seahawks in part to prevent relocation (which was likely to happen if he didn't). I believe that "team stays in Seattle" is a condition of sale, but billionaires have ways of doing whatever they want, so we'll see. I do believe the team will stay put, but crazier things have happened.Where would they want to move them to and would the other owners approve it?
It seems based on the current franchise locations, the divisions are pretty balanced from a geographical standpoint.
Moving a NFC west team out of the west would be an interesting proposition.
Money always talks though.

Remember way back when, like two weeks ago, when there were adamant denials that they would be for sale?
Yeah, it's been known since he died that he had it in his will that the trust would need to sell the team within a certain timeframe of his passing.I think Paul had this sale set up in his will from his passing in 2018.
No. Let them hitch their fair weather fandom elsewhere. There's plenty of room on the Bronco Buses! Might even let you have one all to yourself!
Except for a two-peat!!The Seahawks are not going anywhere.
Wilbon (Pardon the Interruption) is apoplectic about this, says it will never happen ... No so sure, the Chiefs are scheduled to cross the state line, into Kansas, where they belong ...Indiana Bears anyone?…
