Dear just another armchair QB,

Mahomes does not get "special treatment", I have seen a lot more hits on Mahomes that could have been called but not called than the other way. The first hit you reference was clearly leading with the helmet and Mahomes was hit on the chinstrap (look at the replay and Mahomes' head snap back). The drive resulted in a field goal, not a touchdown. The second call, I will grant you, and I stated in an above post, was a bad call, but it was a first down play, so Chiefs didn't "need" the call to keep the ball, they had 3 more downs. It was not "special treatment". Like Jordan, like Gretzky, like Brady, and on and on, Mahomes works the refs; not doing his job if he didn't. Others will learn.

Wasn't the refs who sacked Stroud 8 (yes eight) times, wasn't the refs who missed 1 field goal, 1 PAT, and had another field goal blocked, wasn't the refs who only scored 12 points. The Chiefs outplayed Houston, especially in the second half after the rust wore off. Chiefs deserved the win. Had it gone the other way, I would say the same. Should the Chiefs lose, it will be because they got beat.

Best regards,

Fake news (it is that deranged Smith guy, completely made up, many people are saying, it has become weaponized, I've heard it is an antiChiefs conspiracy, everybody is saying, the Chiefs are the greatest ever, they will make it happen so fast, no one will believe it, but they will do it, only they can) 😝

No, it's reel. I found sources. Although, according to the stats I just ran, my p value was 0.053, so not quite significant, but definitely trending. I think that once we increase the sample size, it will be significant....should only take one more game.

Brady got it
Mahomes gets it
Montana got it
Others also were/ are given special care by the refs and treated with kid gloves.

Big deal ..... move on.

What best sums up the Chiefs game yesterday from the Texas fans here ,social media , and from the Texans themselves.

" Winners focus on winning , Losers focus on excuses " A lot of excuses from the Texas fans, I especially loved the post game comments from DeMeco Ryans if anyone happen to listen , he mostly complained about what a few of you are complaining here. Fact is the Chiefs defense flat beat up Stroud ,and their offense ,especially the second half. As the one of the posts above pointed out ,all the great QB's have gotten some beneficial calls . So as said get over it ,it's always going to happen . When Stroud or other so so QB's in the NFL accomplishes half of what Mahomes has ,they too will get some calls ,just how it works , and has always worked . Take note , if Daniels continues on the road he's going ,watch the calls for him , or Williams if he starts playing like a Mahomes , Brady etc .

Any of you that are complaining here about the officiating happen to even notice how Mahomes actually played yesterday, and the pass rush he was facing, is was relentless . Did you even notice the pass to Kelce for the touchdown ???? Or were you still screaming at the TV on the one bad call that went against the Texans

I agree , been that way as long as I have been watching the NFL . I still haven't gotten over the non call on the pass interference in the 2018 NFC Championship with the Rams , and Saints , one of the worst non calls that had a direct impact on the outcome . Have no idea what the refs were seeing .

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your submission; however, we regret to inform you that after careful consideration, we cannot accept this for publication at this time. The statistical modeling upon which conclusions are based is not satisfactorily described. Specifically, was a repeated measure model used, were missing data imputed (if so, how) or only observed data used in the modeling, what were the covariate and categorical factors, what were the fixed effects and random effects used in the model?

If our concerns are addressed, we will happily reconsider our decision.

I'll stay out of the reffing debate this season and just say that I hope other teams that do not have Patrick Mahomes at QB win the Superb Owl this year and also subsequent years.

This crap has gotten so bad . I was just reading about the Lions Commanders commentating with Brady getting beat up , he made the comment that it was Daniels first incomplete pass ,when actually it was his second . Who gives a shit, or really even notices some of these comments during a game ,unbelievable . I mean these commentators rattle on so bad , I can't imagine most are even listening to them . I swear some are just watching game hoping to be able to post some shit on social media .

Dear Editor in Chief,

We appreciate your concerns and have had our statistical analysis team look into your concerns and have found nothing of note. While the Journal of Threepeatology does have a relatively low impact factor, we feel that our publication contains necessary data that your highly biased readers could benefit immensely from.

This is bad, I need today's games to start, but they don't start until 3 and 6:30 Eastern... Have I mentioned I hate Eastern time (always have, even though I grew up in it).

Cheers

I think it comes from you complaining about the officiating , but yes most is in fun . Was checking to make sure I read what you posted # 2400 ,2403 , 2419 . Thought I detected a bit of serious . I could have been wrong ,I was once a long time ago . 😂

I mean, I could go back and point to countless times on this thread where I've made fun of people who literally DO blame the refs (I guarantee that it's orders of magnitude greater than when I've done it)....I never take stuff on the NFL threads seriously. As much crap as me and my Donkeys have taken prior to this year (well this year too, but especially the couple of years prior), combined with as much as I've dished out, how could I?

Ok, now that we've got that out of the way, I can't wait to see who the refs want to see in the SB! ;) ;) ;)

Yeah, these games need to start!
