The solution is easy. Give 'em a TNF after their bye week. For NFL football to be its best, these guys need a week to rest and practice their new gameplan. Otherwise, we just get more of whatever last night was.
Yup I agree that'd help a ton. Which means they won't do it.The solution is easy. Give 'em a TNF after their bye week.
Plus tired players are injured players. Despite all of the NFL's bullshit rhetoric about player safety they really aren't that concerned about protecting the goose that laid the golden egg. As long as they have a product to put on the field-no matter how mediocre-the money will continue to roll in.I know it'll never happen because of money. In fact, I'm sure they're going to keep going in the opposite direction in the name of maximum profits until the product is so bad it fizzles in to irrelevance. But Thursday night games, or any mid-week games where teams get 3-4 days of rest, are making for a worse product. The more games they keep trying to cram in to a week or season, the lower quality of play and overall product we're going to see. This was on display all this week with the mid week games - they were all quite lackluster.

Tony Bennet said she was the best he’d ever heard.….So my evening was quite enjoyable. I am quite impressed with what a good jazz singer Lady Gaga has developed into, her timing is outstanding….
Robert, I would have to agree. I have heard or seen them all and like many always rated Ella at the top closely followed by Billie Holiday, Lena Horne, Nancy Wilson, a long time favorite Dakota Staton and Sarah Vaughan. Gaga seems to embody the best of all of them combining timing, great range and a dynamic jazz vibe that few have ever mastered.Tony Bennet said she was the best he’d ever heard.
My wife and I saw Lady Gaga perform in Las Vegas a year or two ago when she was doing her residency shows...all jazz and swing numbers. She was very good...Tony Bennet said she was the best he’d ever heard.
I was never a big fan of hers, mostly due to the genre of music she was doing...until I saw her on a Grammy show years ago where she was playing on a piano that was on fire...and her band was in glass tubes with gas masks on with the tubes beginning to fill with smoke...it was impressiveRobert, I would have to agree. I was speaking to someone last night that didn't care for her because of her outlandish appearance and often bizarre behavior but admitted that they weren't familiar with her music. They weren't listening.
I love a success story and she certainly is one. She is a rather plain looking woman, not a beauty by any means but very hard working, having done a lot of weird stuff to call attention to herself. It has worked with her becoming a world wide icon playing in some enormous venues around the globe. They are listening. By now she has been in movies, won an Oscar for her music, lots of Grammy's and is pretty much at the top of the jazz world heap. Not bad for a little Italian girl named Stefani that started at the bottom and made it to the top.
Moi aussi, hard to believe, but it would prove what a great conference the AFC west is, well, except for the Raiders, with great quarterbacks, well, except for the RaidersI can’t believe I’m rooting for the Broncos…3 AFC West teams in the playoffs would be cool
