Hawks offense couldn't play football today. Not a great trend.

I mean, we're not even half a season in to an all new coaching staff who is still playing with the personnel from the previous staff. I still think they could be doing better, but I didn't come in to this season expecting a well-oiled machine yet. I don't think too many brand new coaches, even the good ones, came out of the gate and had deep playoff runs. I'll be withholding judgment through this season.

Hopefully they can at least get a bit more disciplined and start to find some identity. I still think that's a bit on the personnel thing, though, as discipline was taking a nosedive under Pete as well. Need some good player leadership.

The worst thing about today’s game was it’s too crappy to go fishing!!

I can remember a few times when the Hawks blew a lead or looked awful that I'd grab my one and only fly rod, my boot foot waders and rain jacket and head to Pearls (regardless of tide) and fish instead of enduring the agony of defeat.

My beloved Patsies are a below average to bad football team. They have an awful offensive line, their recieving corps is bad, their defensive line and linebacking groups are well below average, they lack depth all over and they have poor kick coverage..

They beat the JETS yesterday. This made me happy. The minimum standard for being an NFL team is to be better than the JETS. At least New England was supposed to suck in a rebuilding year. The Jets spent a bunch of money and capital to suck. Add to it that their QB is getting worse every day as he ages and the whole situation is almost too jet-like to be true.

Crosby is a beast, in Mahomes face all afternoon (from what I heard on the radio broadcast), Bowers is a budding young star, and Minshew played a solid game, save for the fumble (thank you very much!!!) - turned into a good game to listen to.

Yea…watching the Raiders intercept the ball just before Mahomes getting crushed in the end zone for a safety, then squandering a scoring opportunity (should have kicked the fg instead of going for it on 4th and and 4)…then the Stash killing the drive to tie the game late in the 4th quarter and fumbling the ball away…tough loss, we had our chances to win that game

Looks like KC wants a pass rusher. He is athletic and can get to the QB in pass rushing situations. He is undisciplined and awful in the run game.

I am betting the KC coaching staff can get some good snaps out of him.

NE is rarely ahead so situational pass rushers aren't really valuable to them.

Probably pass on Bourne. WR depth is decent, if Pearsall keeps on this trajectory we are good with Jennings coming back. We need DL help. I've heard Godchaux's name thrown around a bit. Love to get Jones back but the Broncos keep winning.

Maybe we just stand pat and getting CMC, Jennings, Greenlaw and a couple others back is like a big trade. I believe the Niners were 3-4 when they first acquired CMC and won out from there....

Oh I get that part. I'm a fan of Macdonald and I'm hoping the inconsistent game day preparation doesn't become an issue.
To have ONE yard rushing in a half like that is like a delivery driver hitting 5 cars in a day...BEFORE even he gets to work!
They didn't play like pros. 1 yard rushing is like shit from the 40s man. Haha!
And I know the O-line is a project, but this is the NFL man. You have to at least be able to line up right, snap the ball, fire off on the right damn count and block somebody...anybody.
I think you're absolutely right with the "Need some good player leadership" part. I've been a Geno defender and root hard for him, but he lost his cool and it's not the first time. Teams got the memo- "Get in Geno's head."
While he's plenty skilled to play the position (and has the stats to back it) it appears he may not be into the whole leadership thing.

Walker is the best back we've had since prime Marshawn so hopefully they figure some stuff out. Glad they went and got Jones at LB. It should help a lot. The D actually played decent considering they were out there all the damn time.
