They can just buy another team, and use it as a farm system...

Salary cap numbers listed for 2024 can be a mirage. For example, the 9ers sizeable 2024 salary cap must roll-over into 2025 to give the pick machine Brock Purdy a huge contract. Meanwhile the Patriots have a clean cap in 2025 to help them rebuild. An NFL executive will only "go for it" in free agency if their team is strong enough to make a real title push. Another issue is roster age and the dead cap costs of releasing former stars on the downside of their productivity. The Chiefs have a very young roster as calculated by snaps played. In contrast the 9ers have one of the oldest roosters by snaps played on both offense and defense. Title window open versus title window closing shut fast. Good luck!

Vikes and Lambs tonight...

Will the mutton boyz nut up and pull out a win, or will they get sliced, diced and grilled medium rare by Sam Darnold ?

Thoughts....?

Well, Aaron Donald ain't walkin' through that door.

So, Vikes.

Ol pick machine Stafford tried to throw a deep ball interception but that didn't work, so he threw a medium ball interception.

Meanwhile in Pittsburgh.

Hell of a game for Matt Stafford and the LA RAMS. Key injured players returning to the roster really helps a team to bounce back. Beat the c-hawks next for 1st place!

Good game and congrats to the Rams. I'm not sure where the refs were looking on that safety, but odds of Vikings coming back were low anyway.

Hoping the Niners can get past the Cowgirls and get healthy after the bye.

I think the clock struck midnight on Darnold in the Land Of The 10,000 Lakes…

I would say his carriage hit a bump. He actually played well. This was more on the D’ than the O’, but they need to run the ball better MHO.

And don’t forget. Stafford is one of the best to ever play the position and when he is healthy and has his full fleet in service …… well…the playbook expands and …..Watch out!

After the first couple series I told my wife 'the team that establishes a run-game is gonna win'. I don't think I was wrong. What surprised me were the number of clean pockets that Stafford had, and the lack thereof for Darnold. The Rams look like they could go on a run.

The Rams with their wide receivers at full strength are gonna be in the playoffs.

Just ran into one of the Packers owners at a local store while out fishing.

Quick question, are this year's Chef's like the 2015 Broncos? the best defense carrying a mediocre quarterback who's way past his prime?
