We didn’t even have a chance to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory…we suck again.
There were two questionable calls on td plays that might have changed the game, yet AP didn’t throw the challenge flag…it appeared we did score on a 1 yd run, yet we rushed to the line to try again, only to fumble and lose the ball. The second one was when Najee Harris dove for the pylon; he began to lose control of the ball just before crossing the line, then fumbled into the end zone where the Raiders recovered…

Drake Maye appears to have the physical ability to be a good NFL QB. In time, we will see.
The line in front of him is awful. My beloved Patsies started a center that they signed that week. He is the 3rd starting center so far. I believe that hey have started 5 different tackles. Their "best" tackle got hurt again on Sunday. Not ideal.
It does seem like they have upgraded at WR though. Polk keeps droping it but that is fixable. Douglas and Boutte seem like they have what it takes.
Defense could not stop the run. This is an issue. It's compounded by losing their best DL and their MLB/ defensive captain. Not ideal. For a roster that was a bit thin to start the Patsies have suffered a lot of injuries. Also...not ideal.
It will all work out in the long run if Maye is a real QB.

Whhhaaaaaat? Chiefs are undefeated, have beaten 2 division leaders, defending SB campions, and they are only "contenders" ... very lame.

Jets will start scoring more. Jets will start winning. As much as I dislike AR12 he has talent, maybe not as much as Jeff Goerge, but those two are kinda in same class but AR12 gets it a bit more than Jeff ever did. Jeff Goerge, one of the most talented passers but behind Fouts and Marino. Imho. Also behind a long ways in being a qb front man for nfl team.
I will always believe if Jeff Goerge had the right mind set he could have been a top 10 ever QB. The dude could throw/pass the ball. Crazy arm talent. But you need more. Brock Purdy is proof of that.
