And the Raiders still have no QB...
I actually got to watch last night's game. It's clear we don't have the right personal in the trenches and we are having some new coach growing pains. I didn't like the pouting and sulking on the sidelines.
We didn't look like a good team last night and it looks like we are forcing things way to much. They forced the ball to DK last night and K9 but didn't seem to have a good plan to do so. I thought our tight end group and Bobo had more fight in them. We lack balance after talking about balance all week. We can't stop the run and haven't been able to for years. My 2cents.

In the NFL there are 2 types of teams. Teams with QB's and teams without QB's.
It is difficult to be a fan of a team without a QB. I'm a Pat's fan. I am one of those fans at this point. Maye starts Sunday. Hopefully we don't do him dirty like the Jets would.
The portion of the Seahawks game (60%) that I watched last night looked like the Seahawks were a team without a QB. It's only one game but his accuracy was poor. Hopefully that is an anomaly for the hometown team. He has the arm strength and athleticism. Some of the throws were really awful though and his feet were all dis-jointed from his body. The 1st Int was a not great decision and an awful throw. He would have gotten away with the decision if the throw was better. Maybe he hasn't gotten rid of the disease that young quarterbacks drafted by the Jets aquire.
That was legitimately the worst game I can recall for Geno. He's been among the most accurate passers in the NFL since he's been starting. Last night was the opposite of that. Though from the All-22, it sounds like DK was screwing up his routes on a few of those big misses.

Bosa was going after Geno last night like Enemkpali after his $600 (google if you don't know), the dude was next level, and Geno still hung in there and made some dart throws against coverage, as well as that bomb to DK for a TD that was called back.
Niners are a walking MASH unit right now with seven starters out, so props for a hard fought win against a good team that is just going to get better, Purdy showing once again he is easily a top ten QB with tight window throws and first down scrambles that were money.
About the new Niner kicker, however, signed because the starting kicker was injured making a tackle on a kickoff return...and in his first game nails three FG's and every PAT...and then makes a tackle on the last KO return and comes ends up with a shoulder injury...the look on Lynch's face truly a WTF moment.
Note to all Niners kickers going forward on KO returns.... fall down, curl in a ball...ten yards from the play!

Kinda . Got them to a Super Bowl , but lost .
I’d say the last real good one was Plunkett . Two Superbowl wins .

That dude was really underrated....probably because his peak was so short.
He had a terrible Super Bowl due to the AFC Championship game against the Ravens when Goose Siragusa flopped on him and separated his throwing shoulder…he was never the same and retired after the next season.
Injuries took Gannon out , I believe a neck injury did him in, in 2004 . But yes he was underrated . I believe he will be voted on next year for the HOF ,we will see if he makes it . I think Plunkett was underrated too, if I remember back then . He too will be voted on for the HOF next year . Plunkett doesn't have the MVP's , other then the one Superbowl MVP , no pro bowls , but he's got those two Super Bowl wins , lots of great QB's that never won a Superbowl , but still some in the HOF. Took awhile for Stabler ( Snake ) , he didn't get in until after his death . 2016 is when he got in .
Yes ,I'm a life long Raiders fan, but not much to cheer about these days , I don't see that team being very competitive in the coming years . Where's Gruden when they need him , they could sure use Chucky
And to make it even worse 3 of those 5 interceptions were pick sixes, 21 points , nearly half of the 48 Tampa scored . The shoulder injury was obviously a factor . It was agonizing to watch the game . I don’t believe I’ve ever watched any other pro football game with three pick sixes , I’m sure there have been , although pretty rare.
It was agonizing to watch…here is the hat my Raider fan buddy gave me on that Super Bowl day; I wore it during the game. It’s been washed so many times the black has faded to blue…
