Do you ever post fishing related content? You seem to get your jollies bashing those who do.
I actually did just post a TR after a recent fishing trip. No grip and grins of me brandishing a fish (not my style) but a TR nonetheless. I see it has fallen to page 5 in General Discussions. A good many here apparently enjoyed it. It is titled "When life serves you lemons." You should check it out. You might enjoy it also.

Nothing wrong with a little good natured sports hate...

I agree.
I also find it laughable that people can't take criticism of local sports team and expect people to support them just because they live in the area. Many people watched a lot of sports and had favorite teams and teams they disliked long before the local franchises even came into existence.

It's all just good fun, even Dime's trolling. He just trashes the Niners and Hawks because he'd rather watch those games than his Lambs. Can you blame him?

Headed out for a week long float in eastern Oregon(c'mon rain!) but should be home just in time to watch the Niners/Hawks game. Should be a good one.

Yeah...
But the Lambs ?
Really ?
It's like rooting for the Cowboys, but without Jerry Jones.

When I was a kid, it was the Colts, in Baltimore.
When they moved, lost interest, when the Ravens came, I was already a Seahawk fan, so no interest.
Like the Vikes, and a few other teams that rotate.
Don't like the Steelers, but like Tomlin, so go figure on that one.
Donkeys suck, Chiefs are old news, so they're out, Bungles can't seem to get it together, so no use rooting for a loser. Raiders are old foes, but have a Coog at QB, so on the bubble. 9rs, Chargers and Lambs are California, so fuck that.
Cam ruined the Panthers for all time, Floriduh had some hope with the Dullfins, but now they are jumping the shark as the season moves along.
Packers are Rodgersless, so they could be a tolerable choice...

Sports hate is funny... Best part is nobody expects it to make sense, so it's got that going for it...which is nice.
🤣😁🤣

Been getting some pretty good reports from some of our buddies up north. Looks as if maybe we should have returned again this year but I think I would still feel a bit guilty about pestering those returning fish regardless of the resilience they seem to exhibit. Good luck on your float. Kinda wish we were doing that in Skeena country again.

My two favorites growing up were the Rams and Vikings.
Fearsome Foursome and Purple People Eaters. My favorite player was Deacon Jones....the Secretary of Defense.
Always liked George Allen, Chuck Knox and Bud Grant. Vikings could never seal the deal but I still liked them. Shit I'm old....... 🤣

If you get all pissing and upset about someone trash talking a team, I bet you didn't do well at recess in school.

And it's not your team. You don't have ownership, you're not playing, you're just a nobody, just like the rest of the fans.

So true. You have shamed me for having so many RAMS Super Bowl hats & shirts, autographed footballs & helmets in my house.

the most painful part of being a fan is watching the team you root for make stupid decisions...an owner hiring hire a GM that sucks and yet isn't fired because of ego and hubris, a coach who brings in a O and D schemes that don't match the personnel...the worse those WTF draft moments when your team announces it's high round picks and it's "HUH?", aka the Bears passing on Mahomes for Mitch Trubisky, or the Niners passing on Aaron Rodgers for Alex Smith...if the fans know they're bad decisions, how could the GM and coach not know it?
Gotta savor those championships when they happen, because they seem to always be followed by the lean years....

I liked the Rams when Roman Gabriel played for them...Charlie Young days.
😁
Tarkenton was a good QB I liked...

They both had cool helmets, always important.

Lance Allworth, when he was with the Chargers, liked him...they had cool helmets too...liked the Chargers then, never cared for Fouts, or the team after about 1969.

Playing Electric Football...helmet choice was an important element.

I believe I still have one of those games somewhere in my attic. Probably with my Hot Wheels and GI Joe collections.
Only a few things survived my childhood not getting blown up, buried, lost or set on fire. :ROFLMAO:

Me, I'm not about negativity, except about Aaron Rovers, well and maybe the RRRRaiders; OK, don't car much for the Broncos either, or Philly, or Baltimore, of course, full of negativity and hate for the Cowboys, and... well a bunch of other teams that might stand in the way of the Three Pete, but other than that, I'm not about negativity!!!

GO THREEPEAT!!!
Apparently, you're not a fan of spell check either. 😆

I got tired of checking yours too!

Yes...
There was a time when a lot of stuff got blown up or set on fire...and shot with BB guns too, can't forget that.

Does anyone happen to remember when bananas had a deal going where they had stickers of each NFL teams helmets on them? Would have been mid to late 60’s if I recall correctly.
They were similar in size to the stickers you see on bananas nowadays.
My brother and I would raid the produce section on every trip to the grocery store. I had one for every team then plus had them stuck to everything else like our bikes, etc.

I remember those...

I'm glad this little kerfuffle ended amicably. For a moment I was feeling like this wrongfully accused Aussie.

Let's all direct some negativity at the zebras. They're more deserving of it than most teams.

This had nothing to do with the zebras!
