The NFL announced Friday that its salary cap for the 2024 season will be a record $255.4 million per team -- a stunning 13.6 percent increase over last year's cap and a sign that the league is entering a new phase of exploding revenue.

There’s some money in that organization that’s for sure
I’ve often argued that MLB could benefit from the same sort of parity that the NFL has cultivated
Not gonna happen though

MLB needs a very long season of daily tv time or it will fall behind the WNBA in revenue. 😀

How harsh will the Super Bowl Hangover be for the 49ers?

Unlikely. 9ers are the oldest roster in the NFL at the moment. Other NFC teams have big salary cap space and draft picks to seriously improve the competition.

After watching what the Dodgers did the last couple years(I'm a Giants fan) the MLB is dead to me until there is a salary cap. Or at least an escalating luxury cap.
The Dogs spent almost a billion dollars on just two players...that's with a B
Niners will win the NFC against next year, it's what they do
while the Ram's fans will continue to poke needles in their Niner voodoo dolls...lol

1 in Denver for 20 million?

Not bad for a guy with a few hundred million more to play around with.

He should hang on to both just for when he vacations.

Disney, Fox, Warner Bros., Discovery creating a new sports streaming service:

What really caught my eye:
"Pricing for the service — which would have rights to the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball and college competitions — could be higher than what people have talked about, Murdoch added.
CNBC reported in February the yet-to-be-named service is expected to be priced at above $40 per month,"

It's a sad time for Russell Wilson and others having a post 2023 season hangover.
