Wholesale firing of coaches mid-season seems to be counter productive.
Sure, it sends a message I guess, but that message is ' we suck', and they already know that, so just seems pointless.
That’s never stopped an owner , plenty of history of mid season firing .

Most likely we end with a 4 win season...in which case AP will be gone...and we will screw up a #2 or #3 first round draft pick...
Reading this morning, it looks like the Lions are looking for a trade for Crosby , perfect fit if he goes . It would be nice to see his talent go to a decent team . I know there’s a lot of great players on terrible teams , so can’t blame them if they want to jump ship .

I wouldn't blame him...but bite your tongue

I noticed for tonight's game the Chiefs are undefeated. Congrats to the chiefs. So now I'm rooting for the Buccaneers to play the upset. A vote for a blemish shall we say.

Maker Playfield !!!!

Go Bucs...

Apologies if this was posted before.
I was listening to the talking heads on sports radio on my drive into work. They mentioned an interesting stat on the Seahawks offense.
They are currently worst in the NFL as far as yards needed to gain a first down on both 2nd and 3rd down. They are identical for both downs at 8.9 yards. Talk about getting behind the sticks.
I haven't watched many of their games, but that is some pretty pathetic 1st down performance.

That corresponds with having a bottom 3 O-line. It's also why Geno is leading in passing yards: They have to pass to have any chance at chunk yardage most of the time.

Just watch Beast Quake reruns and you'll be fine.

I'm very appreciative of the Matt Stafford era.

#6 All-time QB game winning drives

#10 All-time QB passing touchdowns

#10 All-time QB passing yards
I'm curious though....how many passing TD's/attempts and how does that compare to the others? I'm not saying he's not a great QB, just some stats possibly don't give the whole picture. My memory of his Detroit days were >40 attempts/game. Seemed like they went entire drives without running the ball, and they were always behind late in games...so he'd have more passing TD's as a result, and possibly more come from behind wins.....they had no choice.

Unitas, Big Ben, Manning, Brady, Marino, Ryan, Elway, Brees, RW3 are in the top ten and Stafford is #6 for game winning drives. That’s some rarified air there. Stafford is one of the best. Enjoy him now because Father Time is gonna catch him. Yes you have to be behind, but you also have to score and win. That’s 36+ wins for Stafford.
