My beloved Patsies play the 49ers this week. Even with injuries to Christian McAfferey, Deebo Samuel etc. the 9ers have a far more talented roster. They should win.
The Pats O-line is possibly the worst in the NFL. Patriot passers face pressure approximately every single time they throw the ball. Left tackle is manned by a number of diferent players who try to emulate a turnstile. . The "best" player that they have at that position is Vedarian Lowe who is questionable for the game. The Pats starting right guard, Sidy Sow has yet to play in the regular season but may play on Sunday. Rookie Caedan Wallace is slated to play right tackle but is also questionable for Sunday. He has not played well at all but may be better than any other option exceot using RG Mike Onwenu at tackle, where he is an average player rather than guard where he is a pro bowl level player.
The Patriots have Jacoby Brissett at QB. He is servicable but is playing because to play #3 pick Drake Maye behind this line would be something that the Jet's would do. Rule #1 in professional football is to not do what the Jet's would do. Brissett was saked 5 times while throwing the ball a mere 18 times last week. That is not ideal.
The Patriots wideouts are improved but young it seems. No one actually knows because Brissett does not have enough time in the pocket to throw to WR's. The Patriots will try to run with Stevenson and Gibson. They will throw short to Hunter Henry.
Defensively, the Patriots are a good team. Keion White is a star DL in the making. The DB's are all solid and safeties Kyle Duggar and Jabril Peppers will need to make some plays to keep the Pats in the game. The Pats have lost their captain and MLB in Bently and their best lineman Christian Barmore. However, they still play defense quite well and should be able to keep the game somewhat close for at least a half or so.
As much as I dislike Dark Retreat Dude…he still has it…whatever defense the Donkeys que up, he will see it and hit the open receiver…
I was hopeful the Raiders playing a bad Browns team at home would bounce back, but Adams and Crosby will be out for this game…the two best players on the team

Vedarian Lowe is out for the game. No ideal.
Bosa should have 2 or 3 sacks. It looks like Sidy Sow (LG) may play. That woud be good if it kicks RG Onwenu to RT. Caeden Wallace will be beat regularly on the left side though.
Expect a lot of jumbo formations from NE and a whole lot of trying to run the football. They will run and run and run some more if they can. It's hard to see how NE will be able to score enough points to be competitive unles they can score on defense or special teams.
oh, I'm sure they will, they're all about signing players to big contracts and then eating the cap hit...but their D is actually playing pretty well....the Singleton loss will hurt there though. That dude tore his ACL in the first quarter and played the entire game adding something like 10 tackles!
I stand by my original statement!Not all that ugly. Nix already has 53 yards passing and it is only the 4th quarter.
Our D looks legit.

The Bears appeared somewhat respectable today. Let's wait and see how they do when they are not matched up against the dregs of the NFC.
Nice to see after the 70 point debacle last year.
