Hawks playing a back up QB...
That seems to always be an issue for them, at least in the past.
Hoping the new regime has them ready to go.

Battle of the Battered with Lambs/Whiners
It's just too bad someone has to win this.

Lions need to get right, and take care of the cards.

I’m with you! Cousins is such an awesome dude. One of our ex-players worked with him at MN and he made a personalized video for us (his idea) when we played in the title game last year. He’s really as awesome in real life as he seems in interviews.

I also went to HS with the new DC (also a good dude). I’m now a closet Falcons fan😀.

I believe it was a HBO documentary on QB's , Mahomes , Cousins , and Mariota . You could see what kind of person he was , great family man , as well as a great teammate . Like Mahomes what is there not to like about them . Even Mariota seemed like a pretty good guy, although not the successful QB the other two are .

Have been a fan of Falcons since Matt Ryan played for them , if Shanahan wouldn't have had a play calling meltdown , and just called some pretty safe running plays ,and kicked a field goal down the stretch in the SB , would of put the game out of reach for what's his name ,ya Brady. :DI haven't got over that or the noncall on pass interference on the Saints receiver , that would have most likely won them NFC championship . :) I believe it was the Rams In 2019 .
 
Jets dominating the Pats so far. Rodgers is throwing darts and the D is smashing mouths. Love or hate him AR still has it. Watching this game I'm somewhat concerned that the 'hawks had to take it to overtime to beat the pats. Too early to start making those kind of comparisons though and the hawks had to travel to Boston for their game.

The ball is out quickly, on target and on time…
 
I turned the game off after the second TD. It just felt like watching a bully beat up on some hapless guy.
 
A couple critical games today for some 0-2 teams to prevent going 0-3 and most likely out of the playoff picture...like the Rams & Ravens...

Hopefully the Raiders get it done today in Allegiant against Dalton and the Panthers...
 
I'm not feeling super optimistic. Just want to see progress at this point.

Although, the more the Broncos lose, the greater the chance of my Sundays opening up for some fishing, so I guess that's good! :LOL:
 
better start than I thought would happen! hopefully can build on that!

Well Nix did okay today. And Malik Willis sticking it to his old team. Sometimes you’ve got to give these new qbs a couple seasons not games to develop. MHO.
 
All right, Pittsburg did their job, just need Carolina (yeah right) to do theirs along with Atlanta (c'mon Captain Kirk!).

That's ok, I've gotta get after some muskies...good for an ass-whoopin', just to prep for most Sundays... :LOL:
