I have a Creek Company ODC 420 float tube that I felt at 7 pounds was not going to get used on backcountry lakes since I also have a WL Backpacker Pro. It is actually a pretty nice fishing platform for drive-to lakes, was air-dried after each use, and has been stored in its carry bag in the garage out of sunlight . It got used about 5X at drive-to lakes over 4+ years before I discovered a slow leak that I believe is occurring in the valve. The company would not respond to several requests for advice on how to fix it and/or a replacement OEM valve before the 5 year warranty period expired so I gave up and purchased an SFC at a great post-COVID fire sale price for drive-to lakes.
