The hope is the winner of this month picks a theme for next month. They make a post for it and pick a winner at the end of the month. Then the hope is it repeats. @SpawnFlyFish graciously offered up some materials for the winner. Because of that I thought a good theme for the first one is incorporating at least one Spawn material in the pattern. Other than that it can be any pattern. They have a tab on their website that shows spawn specific materials if you don't already have some. For the first month I figured we would select the winner randomly, excluding myself. I'll try to post an example later today but if you beat me to it feel free to put one up. This is just for fun and motivation to sit and tie a fly. Here's a few guidelines below.
- Tie the fly this month. Not something out of your fly box.
- Post a picture of the fly and say what spawn material it uses
- For each fly tied your name will be put in a hat. At the end of the month I'll draw a name out of the hat. Unlimited entries.
