NFR Not What You Want to See Down at the Marina

They're just getting off of work. Leave them alone.
The sad part is that few of these human habituated bears end up surviving.

On my bicycle tour down the AlCan a number of angry Alaskan and Canadian citizens told me it wasn't unusual for tourists (especially in motorhomes) to feed roadside bears for photo opportunities. I've heard that some watercraft have done the same.

A fed bear is a dead bear.

The intersection of humans and these magnificent animals has never been pretty.

That fam has been tearing up trashcans from Harbor mountain to sawmill creek for the past few weeks. If they don't find a place to sleep soon, dfg is gonna find one for em, if you know what I mean.
Yup...and SE AK bears don't sleep as early, or as long, as northern interior bears.
