Headed to a beach house on the NW tip of Camano Island for a long family weekend tomorrow at a friends place, and was going to bring the fly rod and try for SRC or resident salmon off the beach. I'm new to this fishery and know little, but am equipped with the basic fly gear. I was told it's ok to walk the beach at least 1/2 mile in both directions and not interfere with private beach issues. OnX maps should clear any private tideland issues otherwise. Looks like fairly gentle daylight tides with it low in the AM. Wondering if it is worth the effort or any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
