Looks like a slinky to me, and is weight.

Yep, slinky weight. It's a 1/4 oz bobber, so if I fish a bead I can put on 1/4 oz weight. That's a 1/8 oz jig, so I added 1/8 oz extra there.

We had the boat, but you could have fished from shore effectively in several places.
