I'm actually really enjoying just watching RedZone right now....lots of meaningful games in spite of back-ups and back-ups to the back-ups playing.

I like the fact that it seems like Stidham and Crosby are super close buddies, yet they can just get after it.


re: actual game: I don't have a great feeling about this. I may be owing you not one, but two bottles of local whiskey of some sorts.

No, because Coach Campbell told and showed, via diagram, the officials what he was going to do. The official just wasn't paying attention to who was checking in and made the assumption that it was Skipper, who usually is the eligible receiver in these situations, and not Decker. Later, the NFL claimed they thought the Lions were trying to pull a fast one which is nonsense as all eligible receivers are announced over the PA before the ball is put in play. It has been speculated that crowd noise drowned out the announcement but I don't recall hearing it during the tv playback.

JFC! That was a better catch by Adams than it looked initially. I still am flabbergasted as to why Denver wouldn't just have Surtain shadow Adams.....like, all damn game!
