Until Kelce inevitably goes down. They don't seem to have any other play makers (besides Pacheco) .
Not sure why Kelce will inevitably go down, but if he does, he does - I just remember the same things were being said after they traded Hill; Mahomes wouldn't have targets 'cause everyone would blanket Kelce, well, all they did was go on to win the Super Bowl. So please, everyone, just keep on discounting the defending champs, who are doing just a little better than the previous defending champs did

Well you know ,we got all these arm chair coaches here predicting this ,and that . Chiefs are fine , they will get those wide receivers going . What's nice is to see their defense playing the way they are , last year there was a bit of worry with their defense ,and we all know how last year turned out for them . With that offense, they may just replace him with another Mr. Irrelevant.
That Shannahan offense may be the holy grail of cap management. You can win with most any QB it seems. Hell, Garapollo had them inches from a super bowl.
I understand saying this from a non 49ers fans perspective, but this just isn’t true. There’s been a handful of quarterbacks that did nothing in Shanahans system: Mullens, Beathard, hell, even garropollo didn’t hold a candle to what Purdy’s doing. It’s just lazy thinking saying he’s a system guy or that his weapons are doing the work. Am I saying he’s the next Montana, of course not. What I am saying is that he’s a good QB.

I agree . If thats the case it’s all about Reid , Belichick systems , etc etc , not Mahomes , Brady etc etc . You can see how well Belichick is doing without Brady , and I can’t imagine what the Chiefs would look like this year without Mahomes, as great a coach as Reid is , it wouldn’t be pretty . I know Purdy can’t be put in the same category as Mahomes , Brady etc etc not yet , time will tell . Right now he’s looking pretty good .

To be brutally honest, some QB's just are not that bright, and in the lower levels their innate skills and talents can bring them a high degree of success. But in the NFL, having to make a series of very quick decisions while very large and fast men are looking to rip your head off can be taxing on those with lesser brain power. It is then that raw talent alone fails you.

absolutely - Purdy has the second highest passer rating and second highest QBR in the NFL, is the only QB with at least 9 touchdown passes that hasn't thrown an interception, and has the highest completion rate of any QB in the league when throwing 10 yards downfield. Whereas the system provides the opportunity, it takes a hella good QB to execute to that level.
