I don't see how Russ bounces back from being spitroasted by a cartoon character 😂 the Nickelodeon broadcast is a national treasure.

Oops missed @DimeBrite post. Both should stay up just for emphasis

And what about George Paton? I'd say he's far more responsible for the current mess.

In the Russ situation, I just don't see why he would even have motivation to do more than he is. He got his big pay day, and it's locked in whether he wins or loses. The new coach could come in, demote him to the practice squad, and he'd still get paid. If he lost whatever competitive edge he once had, which seems possible, why even try at this point? He got what he was after all along.

He got the money, but he also wanted to prove he could put up Rodgers/Mahomes MVP numbers. Epic fail on that front.

Indeed. He's so far away from that, or even from mediocrity, that I'm wondering if he doesn't just phone it in and collect a paycheck. Even Russ has to realize he's washed at some point.

Jake Heaps stellar personal QB coaching can correct all that ails Russ. 😉 😂

So, at some point do the elite players transcend the “game check”? Don’t most players have to play on game day to get paid?

Depends on the contract. Russ is fully guaranteed. Even if they cut him, they'd still be paying out loads of money for him for I think 4 more years.

As years go by we will learn more about the RW3 saga. Still many tight lips, they have to keep the bridges open.

Re:….. In person and I was a big attendee of KingCo games at Pop Keeney stadium, I logged in many Thursday and Friday nights from mid 90’s to 2012 > Jake Heaps was the best QB I ever saw play for Skykine. Others I was never impressed with including Max Browne, long release, no big time zip on passes, to many screens, circle, and delay type routes. He may have thrown for 12k but 9k was on the YAC’s. The best high school qb I ever saw passing was Mark Rypien, Shadle Park. The best of the best was Marcus Tuisassopo for Woodinville. That kid was so smooth and elusively fast, big legged and decent height. His passing was a bit raw but he had some bazooka in his arm. Back then Woodinville ran the veer option and he ran it to perfection. Both Isaiah’s stood out too..Dotson at Newport and Stanback at Garfield. Stanback and a hint of Anothony Allen in him. Bothell sucked for so many years then they got Blue and Badass!!! (Like an Echo rod)

And once again I have gone off tangent. 😞
