I dunno of anyone truly believed that. I do know that I personally hoped for that to happen knowing it wouldn't. Shouldn't be surprising that the Chiefs are still the team to beat in the division.....sadly.

I‘m excited for the game! Gonna wear my Kam Chancellor jersey today instead of Tyler Lockett. (Don’t want to jinx Tyler on the first day! ) We are doing a BBQ with our next door neighbor friends . He has a nice set up in his garage for watching .
After watching Buffalo and Kansas City games I’m not expecting too much for us this season. I just hope we don’t get creamed . And while i don’t have any love for Russell, I really hope they don’t boo Russell because it just makes us look bad, but I think there will be some of that but the 12s are so loud that i think more people cheering will drown out the boos.

I hope they cheer him initially, and then treat him like any other opposing QB (or worse) for 60 minutes.
Have you been to a game before? The opposing team ALWAYS gets booed. Tonight will be no different. And I'll be participating in it!

I have missed only one game in the past 12 years (on a trip where the VRBO had no cable) but I’ve never been to a game before.
I don’t remember, did they boo Richard Sherman his first game with the 49ers?
I know they might boo. I just wish they wouldn’t. Because that will be the news. Like i said, i don’t love Russell and haven’t for awhile, but i can’t deny that he did good things for the Hawks. So if they boo, I hope the cheering 12s drown out those 12s booing.

Well there's no real opportunity for them to boo individual players. The opposing team's players aren't introduced like the home team starters. The whole opposing team just gets booed when they run out.
