Take the points...
Duh.

Analytics based stuff lost a few games so far this year...the game is not played on paper, or a computer

Not sure which 2-pt try is being referred to, but I think there were good reasons for both:

Chiefs regular kicker (Butcker) is down, the replacement (Wright) has missed both PATs and FGs of various lengths, including last night. I don't think there is a great deal of trust in him; hence, the 2-pt try.

The Raiders had to win last night, no difference in being tied (1-pt PAT) or down 1, either way, they needed to stop the Chiefs and score again; hence, the 2pt try, had it been successful they would have only needed to stop the Chiefs (not score again).

Go Chiefs!!

You can look at it that way ,and the next coach would of tied the game ,and went from there . I like my chances better being tied than a point down . I get a stop ,and I can go down ,and break the tie win the game ,or go to OT .

A tie did them no good, going to OT you may not even touch the ball, they had the ball in hand, go for the win then and there, then you only needed to stop the Chiefs for the win. You don't get the 2 points, you need to do what you would have had to do with a 1-pt PAT, ie, stop the Chiefs and score again.

cheers and go Chiefs

I wish the NFL would move towards a college overtime system. MUCH more interesting than anything the NFL has ever cooked up.

Or just have ties, I can't say they bother me much.

Raiders have an excellent record in OT…and being tied and getting a 50-50 chance on a coin flip is a better prospect than being down a point and driving the length of the field in hopes of getting a fg…

Well us arm chair quarterbacks have a difference in opinions here, watched a lot of football the past 55 plus years ,and the trend in analytics is costing games. As said ,and its been pointed out take the tie , I like my chances in OT or whatever then 1 point down . Agree to disagree .

Yup, but just as an FYI, my opinion is in no way based on analytics (which I hate, especially in Baseball), gut only, win while ya got the chance.

cheers

Will be interesting to see what punishment if any will happen to Adams after his post game antics.

I watched the Raiders/Chiefs game too and thought when i saw this that Davante should be suspended until i saw this video and heard the cameraman called the police. The camera looks to deliberately block Davante when he is clearly angrily walking off the field.

He was just charged with misdemeanor assault. So, he's officially a Raider!

Regardless, you just can’t do that.
That will end up costing him $$$$ and possibly playing time.
Maybe while the NFL looks at all the shitty calls their refs make they can also address tunnel clearance. ;)
@Evan B beat me to the assault charges.

The Adams trade to the Raiders has been interesting to watch.
Even though he played with Carr at Fresno state, you'd have to think he misses playing with Rodgers or at least catching his passes.
As far as the Packers go, their receivers have been pretty mediocre at best. I wonder if they are wishing they had paid him instead of trading him.

I can totally see that happening. They are both hotheads too. After a game like the one the Raiders lost i think it would be difficult for any player not to want to shove anyone who deliberately got in their way.

After reading that the pink smoke bomb protestor filed a police report against Bobby Wagner i can’t help but feel that this camerman was gunning for this same outcome on purpose.
