Anyone cast this yet? I’m curious how they changed the taper from the Fall Favorite line. The FF series has been my favorite line for over a decade, so hopefully the Undertaker is even better?

The only thing I can think of to improve the FF would be to give a small amount of additional positive turnover on bigger dry flies. At times when it’s super windy the FF45-55 can loose momentum with a large foam skater.

I am/was a big fan of the fall favorite, too. The undertaker is definitely different. Seemed to be a slightly more gentle taper, though I didn't have my calipers with me. On my rods (7 and 8wt between 13 and 14') the 45 and 55 (I didn't have access to the 35) seemed more accurate, and made tighter loops, when compared to the fall favorite, so you'd think it'd be better in the wind and yet it struggles a bit more than the fall favorite at turning things over at distance in windy conditions. Cast it in the summer, so I'm not sure how it'd do in the colder temps, but it's definitely worth trying.

I like the FF45 and am interested in the Undertaker as well...but to be honest, I have yet to find a better line for throwing foam than the Rage, especially in the weird bumpy pocket water I spend most of my time in.

I spent quite a bit of time recently with the 70 undertaker on the Clearwater. To keep it simple it has a more aggressive taper over all. It creates more line speed and it's a difference you can see and feel. I expect the 45 and 55 will follow that example. I have not cast those yet so we will see.

Interesting. I have the 7/8 570gr in both FF and the WA, as well as a few 35s for my switch rods, but my brother is getting a new 7130 setup and I think I’ll point him toward the Undertaker.

For those of you that have cast both, do you like Gaelforces midbelly options or the Undertaker better?
