New to PNWFF

Also new, but welcome too. Pass lake seems like a good spot (I am also local-ish in Everett). There are a lot of thin blue lines to chase into the mountains here. Good luck out there!

Just stay on that I-90 conduit to Idaho and Montana-The Promised Land. Don't be tempted to turn off before you get to the Idaho state line, there is nothing over here....

Get used to some geographic anomalies. Anything east of the Cascade crest is "Eastern Washington" although it is still another 150 miles to Eastern Washington. Central Washington doesn't exist. And anything west of the Cascade crest is the coast. Most of the fish are in Central Washington which is difficult to explain since it's existence is a myth.

Another anomaly you will notice is that many fish gorge on swivels-so much so that they have been banned in some lakes that prohibit bait. Check your synopsis or just reject swivels altogether.

Another caution-beware of guys that catch "Awesome!" fish. Fourteen inch fish are not awesome, they are pan size. Cut off the head and tail and they fit perfectly in a 10'' frying pan. Awesome has been just overworked, in 71 years of fly fishing I have hooked 3 fish that were truly awesome, many have been damned good but didn't leave me in awe.

So welcome to the Funny Farm, have fun, share your stories and notice that we don't take ourselves too seriously. This is home to a lot of us. Welcome aboard.

Another welcome. Local, just new to the funny farm?
Or another damn transplant..!..

You are correct, pouring over the borders from the West. Washington transplants the majority where I live.😉
Nothing you and i can do about either issue so have a drink on me.

@iveofione But I watched you (with my own eyes) net an AWESOME RB just yesterday.

.....and minutes later I saw it's twin drag you around for over 5 minutes! Forty four inches of fish, not bad for a couple of geezers with a combined age of 155 years!
Also not bad for a couple of geezers with a combined IQ of 75!
