Anyone been able to find them?
I thought they might be available since the new regs will go into effect in less then a week.
I looked at Fred Meyer today but they only had the current ones.
Likely a supply chain issue…..no paper or ink. ;)

They probably won’t post the new regs on the WDFW website until the current ones expire.
In years past I’ve been able to get the printed pamphlet with the new regs before the old ones expired.

Different batches were delivered today. Usually, they go to the largest outlets, state offices etc. first with the smaller outlets getting theirs soon there after.

They used to get them rules out when fishing season started. Now because they are so god damn lazy it takes until the season is half over to know if you are all legal.

In order to simplify the regulations the new rule book comes out July 8th. This coordinates exactly a week after the rules go into effect with the July 1st change. Not to be confused with Jan 1st or March 31st the end of the fishing license year.

Remember we are discussing the fishing seasons as set by the Department of salmon. The majority of the Recreational salmon seasons are established during the NOF process whose timing is driven having forecast available. This year the agreed to fisheries coming out of NOF were signed 4/18 well after either the first of the year or the first of March. Further that was only 6 weeks prior to the July first date. Those 6 weeks provide little wiggle room to mockup the pamphlet, get it to the printers, the printing and final shipped back to the State and venders.
