I'm sure they're fine, but IMO, if the water is warm enough for me to wear pants while wading, it's too warm to fish for trout. Bass, maybe.

I think this really depends on the river system you are on. The summer air can legit be 80F+ and the water 45F on the cascade creeks I fish.

Look closely: I said if the WATER is warm enough to wade in, it's too warm to fish for trout. I would last 3 minutes in 45 degree water, so your legs must be made of sterner stuff.

Lots of uses for waist high waders. It's about all I wear except for winter steelhead. And in the winter the chest highs are more about the rain and wind than wading.

I'm a large with a short inseam.
The large short fit good.
I tried medium and the were too short.

No, not in my opinion. It's unlikely you're going to be wading deep enough to submerge those zippers in wading pants as that would put you just an inch or two from water coming in over the top. And the zippers will be fine for a quick splash or some rain.

If there's deep wading required, stick with full-bib waders.

returned my Seekr's. Whereas they appeared well made, the feet socks on the ordered LL's were too tight for my size 13 feet, though they are catalog described as being suitable for size 11 - 13.
And personally find the 'blue jeans' color a bit much, definitely an outlier color in wader world.

I’ve looked at them but am waiting for the fluorescent option to be released, just kidding.

Had a pair of waist high neoprene for years and cared for them like gold because of what you said. Fit was perfect and movement was easy. Moved south and discovered to my dismay that squirrels, I believe, really like to layer their nests with neoprene. Ate through the heavy bag that “protected them” from the elements and took much of the lower left leg with them. Didn’t decide to become an amputee to continue to wear them so off they went to the fishing grave yard.
