I'm volunteering to be a "captain" for this event. No, you don't need to have a captains license. They just call it that. If you're available June 7th to put some kids in your boat, please email at the bottom of this post.
Friends thank you for your willingness to help in this event. However I need another favor.
We are in desperate need for more captains for this event. I do not want to have to remove kids from this event and at minimum right now we need 11 more captains to make the event happen with the 62 who are pre registered. I over-registered because I thought we would not have a problem filling this event with captains. WE ARE ALLLOWED 70 KIDS IN TOTAL BUT WOULD NEED 35 CAPTAINS FOR THAT. Our non-profit organization has already done everything we can do even spending upwards of $1000 that we don't have, to offer captains prizes for all 3 events with our MVC (MOST VALUABLE CAPTAIN) prizes which will be paid out after the 9/6/2025 event at American Lake if the guidelines are met of 28 captains in the final 2 events.
If you know a business that had a cool prize to add to our event for our captains that could help us attract some more people please let me know.
WE AS AN ORGANIZATION ARE DOING THE FOLLOWING FOR CAPTAINS.
1. FREE SHIRT
2. PAYING FOR TRAILER PARKING AT TAPPS ON JUNE 7th & June 8th if you wish to attend our Sukit Bass Club Event and you were a captain the day prior.
3. OFFERING 20 BONUS POINTS FOR OUR MVC PROGRAM FOR THE TAPPS EVENT.
4.Captains actually fish in our events to help kids catch fish.
5. We are trying to find a way to provide lunch but unfortunately I have 0 time to work on other things cause I am always looking for captains.
