Isn’t the Passport a mini version of the Pilot these days?

Pretty similar, but we don't need or want the 3rd row and need a bench seat for the second row. That coupled with higher cost pushed us to the passport

Anyone here have experience with the Dodge Durango? I'm interested in the V6 version. Just starting my research. So far it sounds like they're a generally reliable rig (200k+ regularly) with plenty of power, lots of room and very good mileage for the size and performance. The problems I'm reading about are mostly water pump, and leaking tail light lenses with one report of valve train issues.

I had a Hemi model for a short time but was a good vehicle(ex wifes rig I was forced to deal with), awfly big rig for a v6 I think.

It's pretty hard to do donuts in an AWD.

pre-22' Highlander with the V-6 (went to turbo-4 in 23')...as bulletproof as they come, plenty of torque, buddy put a 2" lift on his w/slightly bigger tires...very capable for the reasonable

The original sheet metal was an orange body with a white hard top…almost went that color with white metal wheels…but I wanted a rag top

Dodge's pentastar V6 with the 8 speed torqueflite tranny(not a CVT) puts 295hp to the ground in a normally aspirated configuration. It gets 27mpg on the highway and has towing capacity well North of 5k lbs (over 7k in the half ton RAM p/u). My son just picked up a 2024, loaded with under 20k miles for under 30k. I'll be up there before Christmas and give it a test drive. My vehicle purchase probably won't happen until early 2027. This powertrain in either the Durango or a 1/2 ton RAM pickup is definitely on my radar.
