Need help with a partially digested fish ID!

These are from a striped bass in SF Bay. The bottom two are ~5" anchovies but the top thing looks like some sort of pomfret to me. Capt. I was fishing with has cleaned a million stripers and has never seen one before. @Cabezon or anyone else have a clue?

I suspect that the top fish is a Pacific pompano (aka butterfish), Peprilus simillimus (see here). This species is more common off sandy beaches in SoCal, but its range does reach San Francisco Bay (even to Northern B.C.).
