NBA 2025-26

That was a weird 4th qtr incident. Wemby said afterwards he didn't know what was going on, it'd never happened to him before
 
As a Philly fan and de facto NY sports hater, it pains me to say … go Knicks. They’ve cooked up some very special sauce this post-season.
 
One team swept the semis. The other went to game 7. Always tough to get back up after the high of a game 7 win. It'll be 2-2 after they play in NY, then it's a 3 game series.
 
NY tried to choke and give away the game..... the spurs did it instead.

NY city will win another world championship.

I wouldn't be surprised (now, not before the series started) if the Knicks get the broom out…but most likely will end it in 5 or 6
 
Wemby literally threw the game away...Michael Wilbon has said it best..'young teams have to have their hearts broken in the finals at least once or twice before their able to figure it out'
 
I almost turned it off after that challenge that not only negated the foul on Wemby, but instead gave it to Towns for supposedly hooking. He did the best job ever of NOT hooking. Wemby fouled him a couple times on the drive before the shot. Original foul was correct.

I like Wemby, but the constant whining has me nearly unable to watch even playoff NBA. Wemby is obviously the NBA's darling now.

BTW, not a Knicks fan. Would love to see coach Johnson get a chip.
 
Amazing game. The Spurs will be a problem for a long time to come but way too many young player mistakes this series. Double digit leads in every game I think. The lead in the last few minutes in 3 of 4 games. Wemby with horrible turnover in game 2. Bad missed free throws tonight. Castle has been incredibly good defending Brunson all series but got into foul trouble tonight and Brunson took advantage of that. Even Fox with a bad decision attempting the layup against Anunoby when he should have killed as much time as possible with 10-12 seconds left and the lead/wait to get fouled.

Wemby has not been clutch this series. Harper has been and Castle has been as well (2 more big free throws tonight on top of the two last game, plus the big three). 20, 21 and 22 though. If they are together and healthy in their primes, look out.
 
Wemby had a bad turnover at the end of game 1 as well. Dribbled off his own foot. And then Brunson hit the clutch fade away.
Brunson actually leads the series in turnovers, but he's a full-time ball handler. Wemby has WAY too many for no more than he handles. He has to clean that up.
