Tatum has been a lot better than people give hime credit for. He had 25 assists over the 1st 2 games. He was the best player for the C's in Boston, even when shooting poorly. His passing and selfless offense set the tone for the C's in the same way Irving's selfish and lethargic play set the tone for Dallas. Brown is a superstar and has played like one on both ends of the court. Tatum has been just as good, albeit without the flash that Brown has provided. Brown's dunks and blocks stand out every night.
Lakers fan?…Through 3 games, Tatum has been shooting 36% overall and 30% from three. Pretty poor, but lucky for them, he knows that pressure isn’t his thing and has developed enough sense to pass.
Pretty boring series though, IMO and IOPO, too
I've always believed that basketball shines a light on people's charector traits more than any other sport.Or any other people of like mind…
I don't know if SSpey is or isn't a Lakers fan, but he did put up some factual information....until proven otherwise, Tatum shrinks.Lakers fan?…
What exactly would make you happy with a finals? A game 7? That is only something a non fan of either team would wish for.so it's not very competitive then....or is it, which is it?
Say what you want about how good this C's team is or has been but up until now, their m.o. has been wilting when it really mattered. I guess there's still time for that, but I can't see it happening.
These finals have been incredibly boring to watch because the games just haven't really been all that close (in spite of Dallas making last night's game a little bit interesting for a short bit).
Lakers fan?…
I think you are selling the C's and Tatum a bit short. They have won some game 7's and Tatum has played well in some.I don't know if SSpey is or isn't a Lakers fan, but he did put up some factual information....until proven otherwise, Tatum shrinks.
Shoot, this entire Boston team for the last 5 years has shrunk in the big moments....until now.
This series is about as exciting for non-Celtics fans as SB 50 was for non-Broncos fans....
maybe I am....but I don't think I am (based on what my eyeballs are telling me). I mean, they also lost a game 7 to Miami just last year. Miami had no business even making it that far, let alone beating them last year.I think you are selling the C's and Tatum a bit short. They have won some game 7's and Tatum has played well in some.
Tatum had 51 in game seven vs. the 76ers last year and was excellent in the 3 games required to force game 7 against the heat. He played poorly in game 7 as they all did.
They won game 7's against milwaukee and miami the year prior. They were not the equal of a veteran Warrior club.
Overall, the progression has been steady.
neato. thanks. That's exactly the point! thanks for making it for me....only exciting if you're a fan of said team specifically (which you' obviously are making you a highly biased opinion on the matter). What exactly would make you happy with a finals? A game 7? That is only something a non fan of either team would wish for.
As a Celtics fan for longer than you have been alive, a sweep to me is as exciting as it gets. Hope they have room for another banner
All I know is at the end of the game I watch Luka storm back to the lockers looking enraged while Kyrie was hugging it up and smiling with some courtside folks. I can't stand Luka's foul grabbing style, but he's a competitor. Mr flat earth doesn't seem to give a crap.
As for the Cs, good D covers up a lot. They are long and quick and play hard on the D end. Even if they are tight and not shooting like they do in the regular season, the D has them covered.
For all the talk about the Warriors offense during their run, they ranked in the top 5 D every year. Even with KD they would have had a hhard time overcoming a mediocre D.
You are correct…he is only on a losing streak since then…wait a minute, didn't the C's lose to Kyrie and the Nets a couple of years ago in the playoffs? or am I just dreaming that? Pretty sure this was after Kyrie left...

The Mav's should win tonight. If they can't get up with a huge effort tonight, the team has a fundamental flaw.Dang man, you're putting a little too much into this. Sports does weird things to people...just think though, after tonight, they'll be adding another banner. Preemptive congrats to the C's.
