Does anyone have any experience with either of these reels? Just a general review of performance? No doubt they are both great reels. Just trying to get unbiased review.

While I haven't owned either, I'd say performance-wise, they're both going to be more than enough. I think the deciding factor is going to be more personal preference: aesthetics and price.

The Nautilus GTS reels (5 - 8 weight) are new to the market, so I have not touched one yet. They are based on the 2017 release of the Nautilus GTX big trophy game reel design, so it uses the company's best drag tech. The Nautilus GTR (8 - 11 weight) is coming to the market soon as well. Is there anybody out there who has used the GTX model?
I own many Nautilus NVG and CCF-X2 reels in 5 weight to 12 weight and really love them. I've put them through hell in saltwater with some great fish and they have never failed me. Smooth drags and plenty light.

Hadn’t heard about the GTR. I’ll take a look at the CCF-x2 also thanks @DimeBrite

I have the Ross and it’s great, but have not put the drag to any heavy use yet. It should stop a truck, not that that’s really necessary. I think the GTS is a lot lighter.
