I call today 'Tuesday'...reason enough to celebrate, as I am here for it.

I'm a lefty and I will state that the struggle is real. As a kid I struggled to procure a left handed baseball mitt. Writing in a notebook is awkward. Sitting at a table to eat is awkward (I always consider my left elbow at the table). Playing a guitar left handed is awkward ( Jimi Hendrix did it well.) Using scissors in first grade was a failure for me ( I now have lefty scissors) all of these examples illustrate that a lefty lives in a righty world. Many historical accounts equate lefties with demons,... Leonardo da Vinci was a lefty.

Much agreed and probably why I ended up about 60% left and 40% right.

Scissors for some reason I’ve always used my right hand , possibly early on I found they didn’t work well with my left . Of course sitting in a booth or table I always try to be where my left hand doesn’t interfere with the person next to me , my wife just sits where that always seems to work at a restaurant. Don’t remember ever having difficulty getting a left handed baseball mitt, but it’s been nearly 70 years since little league. Paul McCartney is a lefty guitar player if not mistaken. I can say being left handed I never considered it being a struggle, In all honesty I like being left handed .

I don’t do anything right handed that I’m aware of , but scissors now that they were mentioned , I fish left handed , eat , throw, using a wrench screwdriver etc etc .

Do you have examples of what you have had to do right handed ?

Eat left, write left on paper but right on a chalkboard on a chalk board, throw right, switch hit with about the same average either way, cast right, prefer left with a skilsaw but hammer right, etc. Pretty screwed up huh. :unsure: :ROFLMAO:

My wife is a lefty as is my oldest son. When ever we eat out my wife and I, if sitting on the same side of the table, always stop and make sure her left arm and my right arm are on the outside.

Jimi Hendrix was also a left hander.

That is a bit different. :) My brother is also left handed , but bats right, but I think about everything else he does left handed . I’m not sure I could even hit a nail on the head hammering right handed , or use a screwdriver.

As said my wife makes sure I sit on her left side , and I’m sitting on the outside in a booth .
