We are in the look-for-a-lodge-outfitter mode and a group of us are hoping to book a fly fishing trip to Alaska in 2026. I’m wondering if any of you have had experience with Naknek River Camp? We are a bunch of retired government hacks so we aren’t looking for five star accommodations but also don’t really want to go the DIY route. We aren't necessarily stuck on King Salmon/Naknek area as a destination. A couple of us worked with bears while we were gainfully employed so viewing the bruin convention at Brooks Falls is appealing (but not if the fishing part sucks).
