Naches Roadside Camping

Life of the Party
Planning a last minute trip to the Naches, and not really finding any camp sites. Thinking about camping at a pullout on a forest road or another, but a little concerned about safety. Had a nasty experience in the middle of nowhere on Vancouver island where my family were essentially threatened and forced to leave public land and worried about running into that sort of unsavory individuals outside the camp sites. Any of you have experience in that area? A PM would be greatly appreciated if so

With all the NF campgrounds spread along Hwy 410, I'm amazed you can't find an open campsite. Friends and I stay at one of a couple, but I think my buddy does make a campsite reservation a month or two ahead. Camping on a forest road pullout can be a very dusty experience; I'd try and find a site that's a bit off the road.

Lil naches. Crows creek campsite.
#10 site is the best.
We got number 12! Buddy hooked a nice fish that put a bend in the 6wt, sadly got off. His GF hooked 3 nice Brookies on the blue fox. All I had to show for the trip was some rises out of the little fish in Crows Creek and one to the net haha

I was up that area a couple weeks ago,and surprised by the amount of reservations at the camp grounds. Upthe little Naches River there are a number of dispersed campsites. Also the Bumpinge River has some nice camp sites
